The second session on “Poetry Translation Challenge” will be held on Sat.27 September 2008 (6 Mehr 1387) at the Faculty of Letters and Humanities at Shahid Beheshti University. In this session, poet and critic Mohammad Tolouei will give us a lecture on the life, poetry, and style of the deceased Bijan Kelki within his socio-literal context and in comparison with more known peots such as Forough Farrokhzad and Ahmad Shamlu. The session will be then followed by an examination and evaluation of the translations of a poem by Kelki.
All students and those interested in poetry and translation are welcome.
